Good fishing and access to play in Oatka creek
Love the park and greenway . Did some fishing .ended up going bacj with my wife she loves the park also
I had my senior pictures taken at Canawaugus Park, and it is the prime location! If you want wooden/metal/graffiti covered bridges, trails, fields, trees, and creeks - come here! (Just beware of some of the words on the graffiti bridge...Haha!) The ground is easy to cover, as it is not a huge park.
Nice little spot. Close Parking. Short walk to water. Water entrance was a bit steep, but not unmanageable. Lots of mosquitos mid afternoon. Partly shaded. Many rowdy teens. My 3 year old loved the gentle water. Warning: wear shoes in the water.
Came here to check out the swimming in the creek. Water was clear and lovely but FREEZING. Also a lot of mosquitos by the water. The park itself is lovely. Perfect for a picnic. Bring bug spray.
Also, there is a small village within walking distance that has older buildings and has a cute old-town feel!
